Terms, Booking Conditions & General Information
The following Terms & Conditions apply to all travel arrangements booked through Manase Travel Studio. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
By confirming your travel arrangements, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Please read the following conditions carefully.
We are a travel agent and in that capacity we offer for sale to you various products and/or services on behalf of our Principals viz. airlines, other transport operators, hotels and other accommodation providers, tour operators and all other principal suppliers. These are referred to throughout as "the Principal/s"
1. Our Role as Your Travel Designer
Manase Travel Studio acts as a travel agent on behalf of airlines, cruise companies, hotels, tour operators, transport providers, travel wholesalers and other travel service providers ("Suppliers").
Our role is to arrange and coordinate travel services between you and the relevant Supplier. Your booking creates a direct contractual relationship between you and the Supplier providing the service.
While we exercise reasonable care, skill and professionalism in arranging your travel, we do not own, control or operate the services supplied by third parties. Accordingly, Manase Travel Studio cannot accept liability for any loss, damage, delay, injury, cancellation, change or disappointment resulting from the acts, omissions or failure of any Supplier.
Any claims relating to the performance of travel services must be made directly against the relevant Supplier.
2. Supplier Information
Brochures, websites, images, itineraries and promotional material supplied to you are produced by the relevant Suppliers.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, Manase Travel Studio has not independently verified all information contained within these materials and accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracies, omissions or misrepresentations made by Suppliers.
3. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that comprehensive travel insurance is purchased at the time your travel arrangements are confirmed.
Your policy should provide suitable cover for, including but not limited to:
Trip cancellation and disruption
Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
Personal liability
Loss, theft or damage to luggage and personal belongings
Supplier insolvency (where available)
COVID-19 or other epidemic-related disruption (if applicable)
It is your responsibility to ensure your insurance policy meets your individual travel requirements.
4. Cancellations
Cancellation fees may apply once travel arrangements have been confirmed.
Many airfares, accommodation bookings, cruises, tours and promotional fares are:
Non-refundable
Non-transferable
Subject to Supplier cancellation penalties
In addition to Supplier charges, Manase Travel Studio may charge administration fees for processing cancellations.
Please contact us before cancelling any booking so we can advise applicable costs.
5. Changes to Bookings
Changes requested after confirmation may incur amendment fees charged by Suppliers and/or Manase Travel Studio.
Some bookings cannot be changed once confirmed and may require cancellation and rebooking at additional cost.
Any increase in fares, taxes or Supplier charges resulting from amendments will be payable by the traveller.
6. Pricing
All prices are subject to availability until confirmed and paid.
Prices may change without notice due to:
Airfare increases
Currency fluctuations
Government taxes
Fuel surcharges
Supplier pricing changes
Airport or security charges
If a price changes before your booking is ticketed or confirmed, we will advise you before proceeding.
7. Payments
Payment is required by the due date advised by Manase Travel Studio.
Failure to make payment by the specified date may result in cancellation of your booking by the Supplier.
Payment methods accepted may include:
Bank transfer
EFTPOS
Visa
Mastercard
Other approved payment methods
Some Suppliers may restrict payment by credit card or apply merchant fees. Any applicable surcharge will be advised prior to payment.
8. Refunds
Refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant Supplier.
Where a refund is approved, Manase Travel Studio cannot process payment until funds have been received from the Supplier.
Administration fees, Supplier cancellation fees and non-refundable deposits may be deducted from any refund payable.
Some bookings may not be eligible for any refund.
9. Passports
It is your responsibility to ensure:
Your passport is valid before travel.
Your passport remains valid for the required period after your return.
Many countries require passports to remain valid for at least six months beyond the date of departure from that country.
Failure to comply with passport requirements may result in denied boarding or refused entry.
10. Visas
Obtaining the appropriate visas and travel authorisations is solely the responsibility of the traveller.
Visa requirements vary depending on:
Nationality
Passport held
Destination
Transit countries
Length of stay
Some countries may refuse entry based on criminal convictions, immigration history or medical conditions.
Manase Travel Studio accepts no responsibility for travellers who are denied entry due to incorrect or incomplete documentation.
11. New Zealand Re-entry Requirements
Travellers holding foreign passports should ensure they hold the appropriate authority to re-enter New Zealand.
New Zealand citizens travelling on foreign passports should confirm any citizenship or re-entry requirements before departure.
It is your responsibility to obtain all necessary documentation.
12. Health & Vaccinations
Some destinations require proof of vaccination or compliance with specific health regulations.
Travellers should consult:
Their medical practitioner
Travel health clinics
Official Government travel advisories
Relevant embassies or consulates
before departure.
Manase Travel Studio is not responsible for changes to health requirements after booking.
13. Travel Documentation
Upon receiving your travel documents, itinerary, tickets and confirmations, you must carefully check that:
Traveller names exactly match passports
Dates are correct
Destinations are correct
Flights are correct
Accommodation details are correct
Special requests have been included (where confirmed)
Any discrepancies should be reported immediately.
Failure to advise us promptly may result in additional costs.
14. Responsibility of the Traveller
It is your responsibility to ensure you comply with all travel requirements, including:
Passport validity
Visa requirements
Health requirements
Customs regulations
Immigration requirements
Airline check-in times
Baggage allowances
Transit requirements
Failure to comply with these obligations may result in denied boarding, refusal of entry or additional expenses, for which Manase Travel Studio cannot be held liable.
15. Force Majeure
Manase Travel Studio is not liable for delays, cancellations, losses or changes resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Severe weather
Government restrictions
Pandemics or epidemics
Airline operational issues
Industrial action
Civil unrest
Acts of terrorism
War
Additional costs arising from such events remain the responsibility of the traveller unless covered by travel insurance.
16. Privacy
Manase Travel Studio collects personal information necessary to arrange your travel.
By making a booking, you authorise us to share your information with relevant Suppliers, government authorities and service providers where required to complete your travel arrangements.
Your information is handled in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act.
17. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming your booking and making payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions together with the terms and conditions of the relevant travel Suppliers.
